1. Explain it simply
First say your suggestion or plan as a normal statement.
Then add 好吗? at the very end to ask 'OK?' or 'shall we?'
好吗? always comes last; never put it in the middle or at the front.
2. Show examples
我们一起去吃饭,好吗?
Wǒmen yīqǐ qù chī fàn, hǎo ma?
Sandhi:Wǒmen yìqǐ qù chī fàn, hǎo ma?
Let's eat together, OK?
proposal + 好吗
你明天给我打电话,好吗?
Nǐ míngtiān gěi wǒ dǎ diànhuà, hǎo ma?
Call me tomorrow, OK?
request + 好吗
你等我一下,好吗?
Nǐ děng wǒ yīxià, hǎo ma?
Sandhi:Nǐ děng wǒ yíxià, hǎo ma?
Wait for me a moment, OK?
好吗 always at the end
3. Share a tip
Say your whole idea first, then tag 好吗? onto the end — it is a softer, more polite way to invite someone to agree than a plain command.
