1. Explain it simply
The pattern is [Subject] + 让/请/叫 + [Person] + [Verb phrase].
The middle person is the object of 让/请/叫 and also the subject of the second verb, so it always sits right after 让/请/叫.
让 = have/let someone do it; 请 = invite or please someone to do it; 叫 = tell or ask someone to do it.
2. Show examples
老师让我们看书。
Lǎoshī ràng wǒmen kàn shū.
The teacher has us read.
让 = have someone do
我请你吃饭。
Wǒ qǐng nǐ chī fàn.
I'm treating you to a meal.
请 = invite someone
妈妈叫我回家。
Māma jiào wǒ huí jiā.
Mom tells me to come home.
叫 = tell someone
3. Share a tip
The person always comes right after 让/请/叫 and before the second verb. Never put the verb phrase before that person.
